Jillian’s Biggest Loser Weight Loss Trick

See what celebrity fitness trainer Jillian did last week?

Over at the Biggest Loser Ranch she got into a little hot water trying to pull a fast one. Michaels had been trying to cheat the system .

She’s been giving her team caffeine pills.

There are some supplements that work, and some that don’t.

Caffeine is one of those supplements that do work.

It’s a popular stimulant. You’ll find it in all sorts of energy drinks and soda pop, and of course, coffee.

It serves as a pick me up.

Lots of people use it. Long day at the office, studying for exams or writing papers. Bodybuilders and gym rats use it as a preworkout supplement.

Basically it give you a little more energy and mental awareness.

With that boost of energy comes a slight fat burning effect.

I don’t think thats why Jillian used them.

Caffeine doesn’t raise metabolism enough to make much a difference. You may burn a few extra calories. Nothing that will tip the scales at the biggest loser weight in.

Caffeine is also an appetite suppressant.

I believe this was her motivation.

I have read that most contestants are encouraged to skip meals and drastically reduce their calorie intake.

Works like gangbusters the way Brad does here… https://jasoncscs.com/goto/fasting

But that’s not how it’s done on the show.

Contestants are starved to reach those double digit  losses each week. They don’t strategically plan what meals are missed…

They just don’t eat. Or eat next to nothing.

Not good. Definitely not for long term weight loss or health. Makes you miserable too. If you have ever cut after bulking or any other extreme diet, you know how much this sucks.

To combat empty belly pains and feeling hungry Jillian went for a quick fix with the pills.

This approach works. But, like I said…

Not healthy.

Not long term.

Not fun.

Michaels defended her rule breaking actions…

“I stand by my opinion: a caffeine supplement is significantly healthier than unlimited amounts of coffee,”

Michaels said on the Nov. 12 episode of the show.

In her defence she may be right. I don’t know if they have been doing this since day one or not. But contestants are fed endless amounts of coffee. Sometimes they have coffee instead of meals.

If you have ever watched the show you see that there are some amazing weigh ins.

It is effective.

Sadly it doesn’t last.

When it comes to doing it on their own I’ve seen contestants regain all their weight. Plus some.

3-6 meals a day isn’t necessary. Not even for those looking to build muscle. If done right. Skipping meals is an effective way to burn fat.

Done the right way weight loss is permanent and easier. No need for pills or supplements.

With the right system of planning your meals you get better results. Plus… increase in fat burning and muscle building hormones.

This is how The Biggest Loser could cut calories without relying on caffeine…

P.S. This method also works great for building lean muscle. Bulking and cutting are becoming a thing of the past. This is the method to use now…
